In the inaugural session Dr. L. P. Singh Director IIHMR, Dr. A K Khokhar, MDP Chairperson
addressed the participants about the activities of the IIHMR and gave a introduction to the contents of the course.
The course contents included important topics like,” etc.
Besides the classroom teaching, field visits to Pushpanjali Crosslay Superspeciality Hospital was organized providing an opportunity to participants to have direct interactions with the functionaries and patients visiting the various departments of the hospital.
The feedbackof the participants was assessed by a group of IIHMR. Some of the salient features of the feedback are as follows:
- The participants have stated that structure of course was well planned and the course material is relevant.
- Most of the teaching faculty was effective in teaching and had given opportunity for interaction.
- As regards physical facilities all the participants were fully satisfied with room facilities, food quality and services.
- The participants have recommended that one day sightseeing to various historical places of Delhi should be organized along with the training
- Participants felt that it was a good initiative taken by their sponsors and it will be useful in their day to day working.
Way Forward:
- There is need for regular trainings on Health , Hospital Management and Healthcare IT.
